Last week I turned 43. Every year around my birthday I like doing a blog post/video about anti-aging. It’s a tradition, and anti-aging is one of my favourite topics.
We can’t stop the aging process, but I believe we can make it into something great.
It’s about what you focus on and how you see it. I like to focus on becoming the absolute best version of myself, now, and as I age. In a weird way it makes getting older somewhat fun, like a challenge on how to make me and my life better.
A while ago, one of my subscribers asked me if I could do a video for our younger audience on anti-aging. She wanted to know what natural anti-aging tips I have for someone in their 20s or early 30s, who wants to age as beautifully and gracefully as they can (and prevent wrinkles, lines, sagging skin, dark spots, and all the other lovely things that come as we age).
This of course is a great topic, and I have plenty of anti-aging tips on what to do with your skincare routine and lifestyle to preserve the youthfulness of your skin, plus, a lot of tips on what NOT to do!
Now that I’m in my 40s, I’m seeing how my lifestyle and skincare routine from my younger years has affected my skin and appearance as I’m getting older. These tips that I’m sharing with you today aren’t just your regular anti-aging tips or theory, but the proof of my own efforts, and what’s really worked, and what hasn’t.
There’s a lot of things I’m happy I did, that have kept me youthful. But, there’s also some things I wished I knew not to have done, because they messed up my skin!
Check out today’s video (at the top of the post) to find out my tips for preventative anti-aging in your 20s.
